The objective of this club is to provide funds to assist the Trustees to finance the running of the hall and the recreational field thereby ensuring the continuation of this unique and valuable village asset.
Trustees are unpaid volunteers who manage the affairs of Conygre Hall and the recreational field on behalf of the Parish Council for the benefit of the residents of Timsbury.
The Terms and Conditions of this club are as follows:
1/. The name of the club shall be The Friends of Conygre 200 Club.
2/. The affairs of the club will be managed by the Conygre Trustees or any sub – committee of Trustees appointed for the purpose of managing the club.
3/. If the paid up membership of the club exceeds or falls below 200 the prizes will be adjusted pro – rata.
4/. Members must be a minimum of 18 years old.
5/. Members will be accepted on the completion of a direct debit form.
6/. The cost will be £5 per month which will be paid by direct debit.
7/. Application for membership shall be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
8/. Any member whose subscription falls into arrears shall automatically be excluded from subsequent draws.
9/. The Trustees reserve the right to reallocate any ticket number if payment has not been received by the due date.
10/. Members will be allocated a ticket with a permanent unique number per entry in the monthly draw.
11/. Members may purchase and keep more than one ticket.
12/. The draws will take place in Conygre Hall on the 1st Friday of the month.
13/. The draw will be generated using randomised software, using all the numbers.
14/. To be included in the draw members must have paid into the club by the 1st of the month preceding the draw date.
15/. Winners will not need to submit a claim.
16/. Prizes will be deposited in the winner’s bank account during the week following the draw.
17/. A list of winners will be published in Conygre Hall and on this website.
18/. If a winner cannot be paid the winning sum will be absorbed after six months.
19/. Part of the funds generated by this club will be used to provide prizes as follows:
11 monthly draws of £100, £100 and £60
1 draw in November of £500, £300 and £200.
20/. After making due provision for the prizes detailed above, the remaining funds will be allocated by the Trustees to fulfil the objective of the Club.
21/. A register of the member’s names and contact details will be kept by the Conygre Trust’s Secretary in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.
22/. It is the responsibility of each member to advise the Trustees of changes to their banking details.

24/. If the paid – up membership falls below an operational level the Trustees will have the power to divide the proceeds between the remaining members.
25/. Members will be informed in writing in the event of a decision to close the Club.
26/. Under no circumstances will any payments be refunded.
27/. The Trustees may amend the rules at any time.
28/. Members will be informed of any rule changes.
29/. In the event of a dispute between a member and the Trustees, the Trustees decision will be final and binding.
30/. The Friends of Conygre 200 Club is run as a small social lottery in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.

The Friends of Conygre 200 Club was launched on 1st September with the first draw on Friday 6th of DECEMBER 2024.
